Ticketmaster UK Hires

New hires Bonita McKinney and Holly Watson will strengthen Ticketmaster’s London office, while Jason Boardman will join the Manchester team.

McKinney has worked for seven years as a national concert promoter, programming and developing numerous festivals and venues, including the Academy Music Group portfolio.

She joins Ticketmaster as sales executive for music and “will support the ticketing needs of promoters, venues and festivals nationwide, providing solutions and enhancing their selling power across our numerous platforms,” the announcement reads.

Watson has a music technology degree and has worked for large-scale events such as the Isle of Wight Festival, the 2012 Olympics in London and Melbourne Grand Prix.

She also worked for Ticketmaster in the past, albeit in Manchester, and now rejoins “to ensure Ticketmaster has the best deals and promotions available for a wide range of events across the board.”

Boardman has been with Ticketmaster for 14 years in various roles.

In Manchester, he will focus on establishing the TicketWeb brand in Northern England, Ticketmaster’s offering for smaller-scale events. Boardman has also worked as DJ and event promoter, programming stages for boutique festivals and events for the Aficionado brand.
