Gov’t Mule’s Revolution
Gov’t Mule is inviting fans to join in on the “Revolution Come … Revolution Go” tour. The U.S. excursion includes gigs in Boston, Grand Rapids, Raleigh and Des Moines.
The August excursion is named after the band’s upcoming album, which is due out June 9 on Fantasy Records.
Rolling Stone recently talked to frontman Warren Haynes about the new music, including the single “Stone Cold Rage.”
“The album – recorded in Austin and New York City, produced by Haynes in collaboration with Gordie Johnson and Don Was, and due June 9th – is split between political observation and personal rumination, all of it fueled by the Mule’s signature mix of Southern rock, blues, funk and soul,” RS’s Steve Smith writes.
