Acid Attack In London Nightclub Injures 12

Twelve people were injured in an attack involving acid in the early morning of April 17 at Mangle nightclub in London Fields.

Some 600 partygoers attended the house event by club night promoter LoveJuice, according to The Guardian. An argument reportedly preceded the attack, which saw a male suspect spraying a noxious substance into the faces of two other men, who remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Ten more people were injured by the attack. London’s Metropolitan Police are still in search of the suspect attacker, with no arrests at press time.

Both Mangle nightclub and LoveJuice released the same statement: “We are currently cooperating with the Metropolitan Police’s investigation into an incident that occurred on Monday morning. At this stage, we cannot offer any further comment.”
