The Melvins Walk North America
Melvins will drop a double album in July and then take the tunes on the road for several months. Ipecac labelmates Spotlights will open all shows.

The new release, titled A Walk With Love & Death, is a mix of a proper Melvins release and the score to a short film directed by Jesse Nieminen. The music hits shelves in July and a trailer is available for the film.
The band is currently Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Steve McDonald. The album also features appearances by Joey Santiago of Pixies and Teri Gender Bender of Le Butcherettes and Crystal Fairy.
The new dates start July 5 in San Diego and run for just under three months, wrapping up in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Oct. 3. Along the way the band hits most markets, and some like Southern and Northern California, get two visits. Basically, if you are a fan in North America, chances are there is will be a show near you.
The band also plays a special show with Tool at San Bernardino, Calif.’s, Glen Helen Amphitheater; Grumpy’s Bash in Minneapolis, July 22 and Glen Helen Amphitheater on Aug. 18.
Tickets go on sale April 28 at 10 a.m.
