The “Holdin’ My Own Tour” officially concludes with two nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena May 26-27. Church has been wowing fans and critics with the trek, which features two sets from Church and appearances from guest choirs.
“In a relatively short time Eric Church has firmly established himself as one of the best live performers of his generation,” Thom Jennings of the Niagara Gazette writes in a review of Church’s April 20 gig in Buffalo, N.Y. “His albums keep getting progressively better as do his live shows. It may only be a matter of time before he is too big for hockey arenas and will start headlining stadium shows.”
Church will be switching things up for the September excursion by swapping in a shorter set and bringing along special guests.
“This tour has been so special musically; I can honestly say I’m really gonna miss it,” Church said. “That being said, I’m looking forward to sharing the bill with some artists I enjoy. It’s gonna be a fun challenge to turn a three-hour show into a shorter one that can vary drastically night-to-night.”
The outing begins with two nights at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena At Harveys in Stateline, Nev., Sept. 2-3. After that Church heads to Austin and The Woodlands, Texas.
Special guests Brothers Osborne and Ashley McBryde appear in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sept. 15 and Orange Beach, Ala., Sept. 16. Additional support for the rest of the new gigs will be announced soon.
The last headline shows of the year are booked in Gilford, N.H., Sept. 21-22, leading up to Church’s appearance at Route 91 Harvest. The Las Vegas festival takes place Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 and hasn’t announced its dailies yet.
Presales via Church’s fan club and Ticketmaster Verified Fan begin May 8. General onsales for select shows start May 12.
