The Netflix program features new host Jonah Heston and his robot companions Crow, Tom Servo, Gypsy and Synthia. The theme of the show is the same: a mad scientist (played by Felicia Day) and her henchmen (one of which is Patton Oswalt) force a space explorer on the Satellite of Love to watch bad movies until he is driven insane. The explorer, originally Joel Robinson (played by Hodgson) and now Heston (played by Jonah Ray), invents robots to watch the movies with him to keep him company and “riff” on the flicks with him.

Check out an example of how they riff on the Netflix hit show “Stranger Things.”

The original show went off the air in 1999, but it has now been revived after a kickstarter campaign from Hodgson and fans raised more than $5.7 million.

The “Watch Out For Snakes!” live gigs will feature the Heston and creator Joel Hodgson (and robots) from the show watching two, separately ticketed movies with the audience.  All locations will get the chance to watch the MST3K classic “Eegah,” and some locations will get a second, “Secret Surprise Film,” so superfans will want to buy tickets for both screenings.

The tour touches markets all around the country and is basically all theaters.

Tickets to the shows go on sale to the general public May 19 at noon local time.
