Joshua Radin & Rachael Yamagata On Tour
Fans of sincere songwriting are in store for a treat this summer because Joshua Radin and Rachael Yamagata are teaming up for a U.S. excursion.
Sirius XM’s “The Coffee House Live” tour also features Brandon Jenner.
Radin will be showing off tunes from his new self-produced and self-released album, The Fall, which came out in January. The LP is described as “a 10-track collection of Radin’s personal stories told with raw, tremulous vocals [and] soothing and heartfelt songs.”
Yamagata is continuing to support her 2016 album, Tightrope Walker.
“With her husky, commanding voice, Rachael Yamagata could have been a torchy lounge chanteuse in the pre-rock ’n’ roll ‘50s or a bluesy soul shouter in the late ’60s. On this fine fourth album, she throws subtlety to the winds and sounds like she’s having the time of her life, romping through a set of dramatic pop tunes designed for maximum entertainment,” a review from Mother Jones’ Jon Young declares.
Jenner, who made a name for himself with the husband-and-wife duo Brandon and Leah, released his debut solo EP, Burning Ground, in November. (Fun fact: Jenner happens to be the son of Caitlyn Jenner and Leah Felder is the daughter of The Eagles’ Don Felder).
The summer tour kicks off July 7 at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley.
Cities on the routing include Atlanta, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, Chicago, Cleveland and New York.
