Bob Seger Runs Away In NA Tour

Get ready U.S. and Canada, because Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band won’t be slowing down any time soon, as there are now more than two months of headline dates, with Nancy Wilson from Heart joining on select nights.

The “Runaway Train” tour opens Aug. 24 in Toledo, Ohio, and closes Oct. 28 in Phoenix.

The first performance announced was at one of his favorite local venues in his home region, DTE Energy Music Theatre, in Detroit. That gig sold out before many fans even got a crack at general onsale tickets. A second show has been added at the same venue Sept. 23, but conventional wisdom says that one will also sell out very quickly.

Presales for Seger’s Bullet Club members occur on three fixed dates: June 6, June 13 and June 20. The general onsales follow three days after their respective presales: June 9, 16 and 23.

Additional cities still to be added to the routing include Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle and Minneapolis.
