Spectra Sheds Paciolan
Learfield is purchasing the ticketing division of Spectra, which will reclaim its original name of Paciolan, from Comcast Spectacor for an undisclosed amount.
Paciolan specializes in ticketing, marketing and analytics, serving more than 500 organizations, including 120 collegiate athletics departments, and processes the sale of more than 120 million tickets a year.
“We are incredibly excited to join the Learfield family,” Paciolan president Kim Damron said in a statement. “Learfield is an exceptional company, with incredible leadership and an extensive client footprint in college athletics and live entertainment.”
Learfield is a college sports marketing company, and Paciolan will now report to CEO Marc Jenkins.
Paciolan was sold to Comcast by Ticketmaster during the merger with Live Nation in 2010.
