Live Nation Takes Over Buckhead Theatre

Live Nation will operate Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre, bringing the venue back under the oversight of LN Atlanta President Peter Conlon, who helped establish it in the ’90s with the late Alex Cooley.

The 1,400-cap venue was previously known as the Coca-Cola Roxy, but closed in 2008 and was sold to Charles Loudermilk, who made some changes and re-opened the building as the Buckhead in 2010. 

The venue will undergo some aesthetic changes and LN reportedly hopes to start booking more than 100 shows there annually. 

A new 4,000-capacity Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre opened across from the Braves’ new SunTrust Park, the home of the MLB’s Atlanta Braves, earlier this year.
