Van Morrison Rolls Into UK

He just keeps on truckin’. Van Morrison is getting ready to release his 37th studio album and has gigs planned in the U.S. and Europe for the rest of the year.

The new gigs are mostly in the U.K., with a festival appearance at Blue Note Festival Paris Nov. 17. Otherwise the new dates start Nov. 6 and stretch until Dec. 5.

Tickets to those shows are on sale now.

Prior to that, Van has more shows lined up in the U.K., including a gig tonight at Porchester Hall. He also has festival appearances planned at Jazzmiddelheim in Antwerp, Belgium on Aug. 6, Outlaw Music Festival in Hershey, Pa., on Sept. 10 and the Americana Music Festival & Conference in Nashville Sept. 14.

He also has two–night stands in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Oakland, Calif., Oct. 13-14 and 20-21 respectively.

His new album, Roll With The Punches, is available for pre-order now. Of the project, Van The Man said: “Each song is like a story and I’m performing that story. That’s been forgotten over years because people over-analyse things. I was a performer before I started writing songs and I’ve always felt like that’s what I do.”
