Wilco Will Go Around North America

Wilco fans can get ready to have their fill of alternative rock tunes this fall, as the band is headed around the country on a headline tour.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Fairgrounds Racecourse, New Orleans, La.

The trek jumps off at Pinewood Bowl in Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 22. The tour mostly sticks to the regional South and Southwest, moving through states like Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama, wrapping in Asheville, N.C., on Oct. 9. 

There is a festival gig along the way, Trans-Pecos Festival of Music & Love in Marfa, Texas, Sept. 29.

A presale for those shows begins tomorrow, July 19 at 10 a.m. local time. The general public gets a crack at tickets July 21.

Wilco’s website has a feature where you can request a song on upcoming dates, so if you plan on heading out be sure to take some time to request your favorite tune!

The band’s vocalist and guitarist Jeff Tweedy has a solo play planned Sept. 16 at Ellnora/The Guitar Festival at Krannert Center in Urbana, Ill.

The next place you can catch Wilco is at BB&T Pavilion for Pinewood Bowl in Camden, N.J., July 28. The group also has festivals lined up in Newport, R.I., and Denver.
