Katy Perry Postpones Early Tour Stops
Bad news for Katy Perry fans on the East Coast: Seven shows at the beginning of the tour have been postponed due to production delays. On the bright side though, she has announced her openers.

Perry’s Witness tour was originally scheduled to start Sept. 7 in Columbus, Ohio, but delays in her stage design meant she didn’t get enough time to rehearse properly. The new opener will be Sept. 19 in Montreal.
Cities getting their time with Perry pushed back include Buffalo, N.Y.; Philadelphia; Quebec City, Quebec; and a pair of shows at the
Noah Cyrus, Purity Ring, and Carly Rae Jepsen will be splitting the opening duties. Cyrus will take the shows from September to Nov. 1. Purity Ring will hold down November and December, and Carly Rae Jepsen will join Perry for the last month of the tour.
September through February is just the first leg of a mammoth routing that is already set to move through Europe and Australia in 2018. Her last booked show is exactly one year from yesterday, Aug. 16, 2018 in Sydney.
