Martina McBride Brings Joy Of Christmas

Martina McBride is hitting the road for her first holiday-themed tour, “The Joy of Christmas,” which takes in the East Coast, South and Midwest.

It’s “a magical show full of beautiful scenery and classic beloved Christmas music as well as a few hits from my career,” McBride said in the announcement. “If this show doesn’t leave you full of the Christmas spirit I’m not sure what will!” The public ticket onsale is Aug. 25.

The joy kicks off Nov. 24 at the Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, Miss., and includes dates in Dubuque, Iowa (Dec. 1), two nights at the Hollywood Casino in Charles Town in West Virginia (Dec. 8-9), two in Harris, Mich.’s Island Resort and Casino (Dec. 15-16) and ends up in Roanoke, Va., Dec. 22 at the Berglund Performing Arts Theatre.

The Nov. 25 date in Lake Charles, La., will have a separate onsale to be announced. VIP packages, some of which include a signed Christmas card from Martina McBride and hot cocoa pre-party, are available to see the multiple-time Grammy Award nominee.

McBride is currently playing fairs and performing arts centers. Berglund Performing Arts Theatre.
