Speedway Lawsuit Targets Global Live

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is suing Global Live Inc. and General Insurance Company (ProSight Specialty Insurance Group) because it is facing separate litigation from two attendees that fell in a tunnel and were injured at a Global Live Inc. show in 2015.

The venue feels that, in accordance with the terms of their agreement, the promoter for the show and its insurance provider should cover the injured couple’s claim.

The defendants tried to get the suit dismissed but Chief Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson rejected the motion, noting “time is on our side,” and that if the parties work together to bring the trial to a swift conclusion, “you just might find you get what you need.”
