Pegi Young Sets Out For Tour

Fresh off the release of its latest album, Raw, Pegi Young & The Survivors is gearing up for a fall routing.

Raw, which dropped earlier this year, explores themes of loss and heartbreak, emotions Young has had to confront after her recent divorce with Neil Young, to whom she was married for 36 years.

“I hope that others who have gone through loss, who have gone through heartbreak – be it divorce, death or other forms of loss – will be able to connect with it,” Young told The Los Angeles Times. “I’m not the only one to go through late life divorce; I’m not the only one to suffer a major heartbreak. And I won’t be the last.”

The tour begins in Denton, Texas, at Dan’s Silver Leaf Sept. 16. The band is booked up to Oct. 2, visiting cities such as Detroit, Cleveland and St. Louis, with more dates soon to be announced.
