Elite 100 Artists Week Ending 9/7/2017

Get used to seeing  at the top of this chart. She’s already breaking records (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube) with new singles and her new LP doesn’t drop until November.

Things are hush-hush but the inevitable Swift tour will no doubt be a monster.

Last week’s No. 1 and No. 2 artists, Lil Uzi Vert and , hold strong just behind T-Swizzle, but album sales for both are nearly non-existent after strong sales last week. Both just dropped debut LPs.

Sales were overall much stronger last week thanks to strong album releases. Meanwhile, Queens of the Stone Age, after a strong showing last week with the release of a new LP putting them at No. 4 on the Elite 100 chart, this week drops to No. 71.

Pollstar, with the BuzzAngle Music-powered Elite 100 Artists Chart, gives a snapshot of the week’s top-selling artists based on music sales and streaming, counting data from the U.S. and Canada.

All product, not just current releases, by that artist are included in the figures and the total for ranking purposes is based on an album sale equaling 1, 10 song sales equal 1 album, and 1,500 on-demand streams equal 1 album.
