AEG, DHL Enter Logistics Partnership

AEG and worldwide express service DHL signed a three-year global partnership deal on top of  arena, Sept. 12.

DHL’s Shannon Diett and Ian Wilson with AEG’s Paul Samuels and Georgina Iceton after announcing DHL will be the logistics provider for AEG. The signing coincides with the renewal of the partnership between DHL and Harlequins Rugby in the UK.

As part of the agreement, DHL becomes the official logistics partner to multiple AEG facilities around the world, including The O2.

The contract was signed on the iconic venue’s rooftop, which can be climbed in guided tours.

The signing coincides with the renewal of the partnership between DHL and Harlequins Rugby in the UK, which is why the picture shows Shannon Diett and Ian Wilson of DHL and Paul Samuels and Georgina Iceton of AEG together with several Harlequins players.

Wilson said DHL was a “specialist for delivering global events around the world,” adding working with AEG and its international network of venues and events would “enhance the profile of our brand.”

Samuels commented: “Our company is truly global, connecting sports, music and entertainment fans the world over. Partnering with DHL makes complete sense, with their global reach and proven capability to deliver when it matters.”
