UTA Acquires Speakers Bureau GTN

United Talent Agency acquired speakers bureau Greater Talent Network, giving UTA an even wider footprint in the personal appearances sector as the company continues to expand, the agency announced Sept. 12.

GTN, founded in 1982, is notable for its roster of cultural icons starting in its early years with P.J. O’Rourke, Tom Wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Abbie Hoffman and Timothy Leary.

Today, it represents a client roster of leaders in business, entertainment and politics including Billy Beane, Preet Bharara, Mark Burnett, Ed Davis, Louis Freeh, Sam Harris, Michael Lewis, Marcus Luttrell, Ron Paul, Mark Ruffalo, Lesley Stahl, George Takei, Jeffrey Toobin, Elizabeth Vargas and many others.

The announcement follows by one week news that Sures and David Kramer were elevated to co-presidents at UTA and is the latest in a series of acquisitions and expansions.

GTN founder and CEO Don Epstein now joins UTA as a partner.
