Destroyer Reveals Dates
A new Destroyer album is on its way, and a North American tour isn’t far behind.

Ken, out Oct. 20, marks Destroyer’s twelfth studio album and was produced by Josh Wells of Black Mountain. The band recently released the music video for “Tinseltown Swimming in Blood,” which was adapted from the classic film “La Jetée.”
Destroyer front man Dan Bejar said the album title was inspired by a song by the English alternative rock band Suede.
“Sometime last year, I discovered that the original name for ‘The Wild Ones’ was ‘Ken,’” Bejar said in a statement. “I had an epiphany, I was physically struck by this information. In an attempt to hold on to this feeling, I decided to lift the original title of that song and use it for my own purposes.”
