Morrissey Announces U.S. Tour
Morrissey isn’t going to spend all of autumn in bed. He’s just confirmed dates and venues for a U.S. tour to go along with previously announced Nov. 10-11 gigs at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
This has been a good week for Moz fans. The former Smiths frontman officially joined Twitter, released his first single from his new album and now he has a tour locked down.

Low in High School, Morrissey’s first album since 2014’s World Peace Is None of Your Business, is due out Nov. 17 via Etienne/BMG. Pre-orders are ongoing and include a download of the single “Spent The Day In Bed.”
The Times declares that the song “is funny, maudlin, slightly ridiculous and imbued with the kind of rebellious outsider spirit that made us fall for him in the first place. It has a pretty good tune too.”
The tour launches Oct. 31 in Portland, Ore., at the Schnitzer Concert Hall. Stops include Phoenix’s Marquee Nov. 16, Denver’s Paramount Theatre Nov. 20, Chicago’s Rivera Theatre Nov. 25, New York’s Theatre at Madison Square Garden Dec. 2, and Boston’s Orpheum Theatre Dec. 7.
An album presale starts Sept. 25. Additional presales are scheduled next week. Tickets go on sale to the general public Sept. 29.
