Chappelle & Mayer Book NYE Show
Dave Chappelle and John Mayer are going big. After playing several intimate gigs together earlier this year, the comedian and musician are teaming up for a New Year’s Eve show at the 17,500-capacity Forum in Inglewood, California.

The “Controlled Danger” show will begin with a solo musical set by Mayer and a solo comedy set by Chappelle. The second half of the evening will feature both artists on stage together “for songs, stories, improvised dancing and more.”
Chappelle and Mayer go way back. After all, who could forget the “White People Dancing” sketch on “Chappelle’s Show.”

A Chase card member presale begins Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. A limited number of ticket packages will also go on sale tomorrow, including premium tickets, access to the VIP lounge and a meet and greet with the duo. Tickets go on sale to the general public Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
