The Oriental Theater, Denver, Colo.
The new dates start at Trees in Dallas on May 31 and continue for more than six weeks, eventually wrapping in Anderson, Ind., Jul 15. Long legs of the tour run on the West Coast, the Midwest and the Northeast. Additional dates are being promised.
Roth’s sets will be split into two segments. The first, “Electric Sun Reborn,” will be 90 minutes with his band and multimedia projections and includes much of his music from the group Electric Sun. There will be an intermission and a second set with highlights from the live album Tokyo Tapes Revisited – Live in Japan.
In addition to the main set, VIP passes will get fans seats for a special, pre-show concerts at which Roth will perform his version of Vivladi’s “Four Seasons” with Niklas Turnman and David Klosinski.
Fans will be delighted to know that Roth will be playing a few songs on his trademark white Fender Stratocaster, which he had retired from public performances until recently.
VIP passes to these dates are all on sale now. Tickets to select dates are on sale to the general public.
Roth is touring in Europe in the coming months and has a run of dates in India in November, hitting Hard Rock Cafés in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and New Delhi. He also plays the U.K. in December.
