Artist Reactions To Las Vegas Massacre

Musicians react to the mass shooting that took place during Jason Aldean’s performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The tragedy left at least 58 killed and 515 injured – the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.

Aldean was on stage at the Las Vegas Village festival grounds when the gunman released gunfire from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Marshmello is one of the first artists to cancel a performance in the area because of the shooting. The DJ called off his Oct. 1 show at XS Las Vegas, the nightclub inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. We will update the post if other cancellations are announced.

The three-day Route 91 Harvest Festival featured performances on Sunday from Aldean, Jake Owen, Big & Rich, Kane Brown, Josh Abbott Band, Tyler Reeve, Dee Jay Silver, Luke Combs, Dylan Scott and more. The lineup on Friday and Saturday included Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, Eric Church, Lee Brice, Brothers Osborne, Bobby Bones And The Raging Idiots, Britt Young, Lauren Alaina, and High Valley.
