Pink Tour Balloons To 30 Shows In Australia, Five in NZ
Australia continues to be Pink’s biggest market per capita. The Australian leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour 2018 through Live Nation ballooned from 14 to 30 shows when tickets went on general sale Oct. 20.

The next day, her Beautiful Trauma debuted at No. 1 on the official ARIA chart, her fifth chart topper in a market where she has shifted 3.6 million units and 1.16 million DVDs.
The biggest response was in Melbourne where four initial dates expanded to nine. She now plays Rod Laver Arena July 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27 and 28.
The tour kicks off at Perth Arena July 3,4 and 6. She plays Adelaide, Entertainment Centre July 10, 11, 13 and 14. Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has her Aug. 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12. Brisbane Entertainment Centre, which set up a Pink female bathroom after she previously played 11 shows on her last tour, has her for a further seven dates in 2018 on Aug. 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 23.
In New Zealand, she is now doubled her shows at Auckland Spark Arena to Sept. 4, 5, 7 and 8 in addition to the September 1 stop at Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Pink’s last two tours were among the biggest ever in Australia. The Truth About Love Tour of 2013 sold 650,000 tix and still stands, LN claims, as the biggest selling tour by a solo female artist in Australia, outselling Taylor Swift (Frontier Touring) and Adele (Live Nation).
The earlier Funhouse began as a 20-date run and ended up with a three month stay for 58 shows, Both were through Michael Coppel Presents; Coppel is now president of LN Australia & New Zealand.
