Jim Lewi, the main organizer of the annual Aspen Live Conference in Colorado, is launching a new event: the

The invitation-only event is a meeting among the leaders of the cannabis and music industries. Panelists will discuss a variety of topics, including cannabis consumption at mainstream events.
“Last year during our music event, Nic Adler from the Goldenvoice/Coachella team asked why I didn’t have a cannabis conference,” Lewi said in a statement. “He even had the name, Aspen High. It made sense. It’s just a matter of time till the legal system catches up with public opinion. We all know cannabis is consumed at our shows regularly. As the laws change, the Aspen High Team wants to be at the forefront of bringing cannabis together with music and live entertainment experiences in a safe and responsible way”.
Guest speakers include AEG Presents President Rick Mueller, Dixie Elixirs founder Tripp Keber and CEO of Harborside and President of The Arc View Group Steve DeAngelo.
