Garrison Keillor Cancels Dates
Garrison Keillor, host of Minnesota Public Radio’s long-running “A Prairie Home Companion,” canceled dates after he was fired from the station because of “inappropriate sexual behavior” allegations.

Keillor was fired after MPR said it received allegations of “inappropriate behavior” against Keillor last month involving a person who worked with him on “A Prairie Home Companion” last year.
Keillor retired from the show in 2016, but has continued to work for MPR on other projects.
“I’ve been fired for a story that I think is more interesting and more complicated than the version MPR heard,” Keillor said in a statement. “It’s some sort of poetic irony to be knocked off the air by a story, having told so many of them myself, but I’m 75 and don’t have any interest in arguing about this.”
