Jump On The Bandwagon With Miranda Lambert And Little Big Town
Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are rolling out the Bandwagon, a co-headline country caravan launching July 12 in Charlotte, N.C. and initial dates having them swinging through the Atlantic seaboard, Southeast and Midwest through August. Additional gigs and support artists will be announced soon.
Lambert and Little Big Town are regular road warriors and currently touring separately, save for one show Jan. 30 at Madison Square Garden Theatre in which the Little Big Town supports Lambert in the Big Apple.
They’d need a separate truck to haul their awards around, if they were so inclined. Between them, Lambert and Little Big Town have racked up a combined 36 ACM Award wins, 21, CMAs, and four Grammy Awards. Lambert is the reigning ACM female vocalist of the year and is currently supporting her lauded Weight of These Wings double album.
Little Big Town is no slouch, either. The band is a six-time consecutive CMA and four-time ACM winner in the vocal group of the year category and its latest, Breaker, is up for a Grammy and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts as well as No. 4 on the Top 200.
Lambert continues on her “Livin’ Like Hippies” tour, which stretches through March 24 in Winston Salem, N.C., while Little Big Town is out on their “Breakers” tour through May 5 in Estero, Fla.
Live Nation is presenting the Bandwagon tour, which will trek through amphitheatres at least through August.
