The Killers, A Perfect Circle, Winter Jam Hop On Concert Pulse

This week’s Global Concert Pulse features The Rolling Stones at the No. 1 position and includes new data from The Killers, The Avett Brothers, and numerous other artists.

For those who have forgotten, the Concert Pulse ranks tours that have reported data in the last three months.

The top of the chart is still The Rolling Stones at No. 1 with a $9.8 million average gross, and Paul McCartney at No. 2 with a $5.2 million average gross.

Beyond those two titans, things start to even out with No.’s 3,4, and 5, Bruno Mars, Roger Waters and Guns N’ Roses reporting $2.8 million, $2.3 million, and $2.1 million in average grosses. The highest number of shows among the Top 5 was Bruno Mars with 34 for his runs through North and South America.

The highest charting new entry on the chart was The Killers, with 10 shows reporting an average gross of $1,092,926. They had an average gross to hang with the higher-charting entries on the chart with 14,585 average tickets, at an average price of nearly $75.

 A Perfect Circle made it to the No. 46 position with an average gross of $338,372 over 12 reported shows. This led to an average of 5,300 tickets per show and an average ticket price of $64 per show.

One notable new entry on the chart is the No. 90 “

The Avett Brothers also on the chart this week, averaging just under 5,000 tickets per show and an average gross of $291,617. They reported 11 shows and had an average ticket price of $56.

Other new entries on the chart this week include a co-bill with Alison Krauss / David Gray at No. 51, Brian Setzer Orchestra at No. 78, and Angus & Julia Stone at No. 86.
