Lyndsay Harding Joins UTA As Chief Financial Officer

United Talent Agency has appointed Lyndsay Harding to Chief Financial Officer.
Harding previously served as CFO at Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners. She recently facilitated the expansion of Amblin’s relationship with Universal Pictures through Universal’s acquisition of a minority stake in the company.
Her career began in New York, where she worked as an investment banking analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs, and then as an associate at JPMorgan Partners.
After graduating with an MBA from Stanford, she made her transition to the entertainment industry as senior vice president of MGM, where she oversaw cooperate development and financial planning. She also worked as CFO for digital start-up Evergreen Studios. She later moved to DreamWorks Studios, where she again served as CFO and played an important role in the formation of Amblin Partners.
“Lyndsay is an important addition to UTA’s accomplished senior management team,” said UTA COO Andrew Thau in a statement. “A highly regarded and respected executive, Lindsay brings tremendous experience both within the entertainment business and finance. As we continue take advantage of the tremendous transformation taking place in an increasingly complex industry, Lyndsay’s role will be pivotal to our further diversification and growth.”
Harding succeeds Jeff Dalla Betta, who served as UTA’s CFO for 20 years. She takes on her new duties March 19.
