Boasting a repertoire of 95,000 live events, travel company Expedia has unveiled an Event Tickets service that appears to function as a secondary platform for tickets to sporting competitions, theater shows and concerts.

The new Event Tickets page was announced on Expedia’s Viewfinder travel blog on Feb. 12.

“Expedia already offers countless things to do in locations across the world—and now there’s even more! We’re proud to announce our new Event Tickets page, the place to go for all your can’t-miss sports, theater, and concert tickets. There’s no better way to experience your vacation destination than with a ticket to some of the most exciting spectacles in the world.”

The post goes on to offer promotional deals and promises access to tickets for Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Chappelle, MMA and WWE, Broadway shows like “Wicked” and “Hamilton,” festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo and concerts like Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton.

The website did in fact have tickets to Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, but ticket listings appear with the disclaimer, “We are a resale marketplace, not the venue. Prices are set by sellers and may be above or below face value.”

The platform appears to take inspiration from other, established competitors, presenting a 2D map of the venue and a list of available seats with the price.

Pollstar reached out to Expedia for comment but hadn’t received a response at publication time.
