NCPM Announces 2018 Manager Hall Of Fame Inductees Include Helms, Bergman, Hoffman

The National Conference Of Personal Managers has announced its 2018 inductees into the Personal Managers Hall Of Fame, which include the managers of Janis Joplin, John Mellencamp, The Ramones and more.
The induction ceremony will take place May 10 at
The list of inductees for this year includes:
· Barry Bergman, the founder and president of the Music Managers Forum in the U.S.
· Chet Helms, who worked with Janis Joplin and Big Brother and the Holding Company
· Randy Hoffman, whose client list has included John Mellencamp, Mariah Carey, Carlene Carter, Hall and Oates, Julio Iglesias and many more
· Barry Krost, who has worked with Jackie Collins, Cat Stevens, Dusty Springfield and Joan Collins
· Gary Kurfirst, who had a hand in the rise of Talking Heads, The Ramones, Eurythmics and more
· Aaron Russo, who worked with films and with artists like Bette Midler
· And Ron Stone, who worked with Bonnie Raitt, Belinda Carlisle, and Roy Orbison, who is scheduled to go on tour as a hologram.
The inductees are selected by the National Board of Officers of the National Conference of Personal Managers after nominations are solicited by the personal management community.
The Personal Managers Hall Of Fame bills itself as “the highest honor bestowed upon a personal manager” on its website.
