Thom Yorke Takes European Plays

Thom Yorke and Radiohead kept its poise through sound problems during its headline set at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., April 14.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is taking on spring plays, mostly in theaters, throughout Italy, the U.K., and France.
The new dates start May 28 in Florence, Italy and continues for about three weeks, ending June 16 at Sonar festival in Barcelona, Spain June 16.
Tickets to the Spain show are on sale now, and the rest go on sale March 23.
Radiohead is busy this year, starting with SUE Festival in Chile April 11, and then the band has five performances lined up in Soundhearts Festival in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, and Colombia. After that, the plan is headline dates in North America, including doubleheaders at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto July 19-20, Boston’s TD Garden July 28-29, and Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia July 31 and Aug. 1. The group also has four gigs lined up at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York July 10, 11, 13, and 14.
Thom’s latest solo release was the single “YouWouldn’tLikeMeWhenI’mAngry,” which was released Dec. 8. He also worked on the soundtrack for the short film “Why Can’t We Get Along,” according to IMDB.
