Kelela, Mouse On Mars, KRS-One and Jon Hopkins are among the latest artists to be announced for this year’s edition of Moogfest set May 17-20 at The Armory in Durham, N.C.

Other notable acts revealed to play the event include Shabazz Palaces, Little Boots, DJ Stingray and Psychic TV.
This year The Armory is implementing its new A3 (Audio Cubed) Spatial sound system, which uses 24 independent sources to create 360-degree sound. “Within the space, performers can articulate sound from every angle, enveloping the listener within an elevated multi-sensory experience,” according to a statement. Nine artists, including Mouse On Mars and previously announced act Jenny Hval, will implement the high-tech sound system into their performances.  Experimental musician Yves Tumor will unveil a new audio-visual show with a live visual mix by designer Ezra Miller, while Shabazz Palaces, Author & Punisher, and Waajeed round out the artists commissioned for the Spatial Sound program
The festival has also become known for its various workshops and keynotes, and this year is no different. Activist Chelsea Manning, who pleaded guilty to leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks and whose sentence was later communed by Pesident Obama, was previously announced as a keynote speaker to discuss techonology .

General Admission and VIP passes are available for $229 and $499 respectively. Engineer Passes, which grant exclusive access to a two-day workshop where passholders build their own synthesizers, are available in short supply for $1,500.
