Jill Scott Announces ‘Live In The Moment’ Summer Dates

Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans and Toronto are some of the destinations for Jill Scott when the singer / poet / actress embarks on her “Live In The Moment” tour, opening June 21 at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minn. 

Fans will get a generous helping of Scott’s 2015 album, Woman, along with selections from the R&B songstress’ collection of work.

“Hitting the road, being vulnerable and sharing my music with fans is the most fulfilling part of being an artist,” Scott said in a statement.  “I look forward to giving love, light and living in the moment with everyone this summer.”

Scott’s 2017 touring was well received.  Data submitted to Pollstar includes two sold-out nights at Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md., where 5,924 tickets moved and resulted in a $697,456 total gross.  Scott’s single night at Oakland’s Fox Theater was also filled to capacity, selling 1,868 tickets for a $170,430 evening’s gross.
