WME Signs Kayzo; DJ Playing Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza

WME has signed DJ/producer Kayzo for worldwide representation, who early in his touring career has sold out the Hollywood Palladium, Emo’s in Austin and is playing festivals this summer including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Tomorrowland.

Kayzo was previously with Circle Talent Agency, which announced last week it is being acquired by UTA.

A WME representative told Pollstar the artist will be represented by a team of agents.

Kayzo Boxoffice reports submitted to Pollstar include March 15 at Rialto Theatre in Tucson (756 tickets, $22,436), Emo’s in Austin Jan. 27 (1,550, $37,456), Roseland Theatre in Portland Nov. 24, (664, $28,000) and Rialto Theatre in Tucson again in Aug. 31, which sold 1,128 tickets and grossed $31,265.

He was part of the Holy Ship! cruise in January and has done support dates for artists including Snails and Flux Pavilion.

Real name Hayden Capuozzo, Kayzo’s music career began in 2012 when he was named winner of Insomniac’s “Discovery Project” challenge, after which he performed at Escape from Wonderland that year, his first gig as a DJ. He’s known for remixes and collaborations as well as his original work, and just released debut LP Overload in January.
