Michael Cohl Invests In Cannabis Media Company, Joins Board

Civilized Worldwide, a media and lifestyle brand that deals with marijuana culture, just got a very notable new board member and investor in the legendary concert promoter Michael Cohl.

The former Live Nation chairman announced May 18 he was signing on to the company, which encompasses a video network and branded events of different sizes.

“I was looking for a media platform in the cannabis space where I could bring my expertise and I found it with Civilized,” Cohl said in a statement. “I’m excited about what we’ll achieve together, and the kind of events we’ll be offering audiences around the world.”

Cohl brings one of the most decorated resumes in the live music business to the company and joins Mitch Fox, former group president of Condé Nast, on the board.
