Camila Cabello canceled her May 22 opening set for Taylor Swift at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field after she was diagnosed with a low-grade fever and dehydration.
The “Havana” singer tweeted May 21 that she was feeling sick after appearing at the Billboard Music Awards the night before. She said doctors told her to get some rest before playing her next show.
“I’m so sorry to let you guys down and I promise I will make it up to you as soon as I can,” she said in a statement on Twitter.
Cabello, along with Charli XCX, is booked to open for Swift’s “Reputation Stadium Tour” through October.
The outing is already raking in lots of cash. Swift’s first three shows, which took place at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., and over two nights at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., sold 166,707 tickets and grossed more than $21 million, according to Pollstar’s Box office reports.
Cabello also has a couple of one-off shows between opening sets for Swift, including concerts in the U.K., Spain, Germany and France.
