With just a little over a year to go until the Chase Center opens its doors, the San Francisco arena has announced a number of hires for its operations team, along with the promotion of several current employees.
The Golden State Warriors, which just won a third NBA championship in four years, will be relocating from Oakland, Calif.’s Oracle Arena to the new, 18,064-seat privately financed Chase Center in 2019.
Mike Sciortino, who recently headed up facility and event services at New York’s Madison Square Garden, has been named vice president of operations at Chase Center.
Michael Rescigno has been hired as the senior director of parking and transportation. In addition to developing and implementing strategies to operate the venue’s 950-space parking garage, he will partner with off-site opportunities.
Adrianne Wynne is the Chase Center’s new senior director of event services. She also recently hails from MSG, having overseen event operations for events at The Garden including the Grammys, MTV Music Awards and NCAA Regionals. Wynne also worked at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center and was part of the team involved in reopening the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., after its 2013 renovation.
Promotions announced June 3 to current Warriors employees include Stevie Gray being named the vice president of ticket operations and Phil Hastings as the vice president of event experiences.
