Spectra Hires Andrew Forstadt As Vice President, Entertainment & Events
Spectra has brought on Andrew Forstadt for the newly created role of vice president, entertainment & events.
A July 11 announcement from the venue management / food and hospitality company explains that Forstadt will “spearhead a centralized campaign to bring more events into Spectra-managed venues across North America, as well as explore new content partnership opportunities for the company.”
The new position will leverage the 158 properties Spectra manages with regard to ticket sales, marketing and public relations, as well as connecting tour routes to increase the 600 shows Spectra venues host annually.
Forstadt has spent nearly three decades working in the entertainment industry, including time at Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden and William Morris Agency. He was most recently the senior director, global live event booking for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
“At a time when the out-of-home entertainment business has never been stronger, I will be championing Spectra’s charge to aggressively pursue opportunities to design and execute an unparalleled schedule of events, particularly for clients in secondary and tertiary markets,” Forstadt said in a statement. “I want to leverage our collective assets, experience, and expertise.”
