Get Ready For A Chris Tomlin Christmas
Christian music mainstay Chris Tomlin will be singing praises this Christmas, as he is headed on a 12-city tour of performing arts centers and theatres.
The tour opens Nov. 30 in Montgomery, Ala.’s Montgomery Performing Arts Centre and runs through the regional Northeast and South. Virginia, Pennsylvania and Tennessee all get multiple stops.
Tickets for the run will be up for grabs Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. local time.
“This is going to be an incredible night, an intimate night of remembering what the season is all about, remembering what Christmas is about, remembering why we celebrate and why we worship, and remembering our Savior together,” Tomlin said in a statement.
The performance is being build as an intimate “evening with” the singer/songwriter, who is releasing the album Holy Roar and its companion book “Holy Roar: 7 Words That Will Change the Way You Worship” Oct. 23.
Chris Tomlin is certainly singing God’s praises on his own behalf, as he has been blessed with seriously good business for his “Worship Night In America” series. Nearly all of his reported shows for 2018 have grossed well over $100,000, including a $295,322 take in Newark, N.J., May 3; $238,719 in Hartford, Conn., May 5; and $310,000 in Sunrise, Fla., April 21.
“Worship Night In America” came in at No. 98 on the 2018 Mid Year Top 100 North American tours chart, with $4.3 million grossed on a total of 147,889 tickets.
