Pig Pen Fun Bar Gets Renovations, Beefs Up Calendar

The up to 3,000-capacity Pig Pen Fun Bar in Allentown, Pa., has recently completed renovations on its event center, and has since added artists to its calendar including Colt Ford, Rodney Atkins, Bubba Sparxxx and others. 

Renovations to the venue’s 1,500-capacity event center are to complement its 750-capacity main room, in-house Irish pub, and 12-lane indoor bowling alley. Both rooms can be incorporated for larger shows, allowing for a configuration of 3,000 capacity. 

“We wanted to be able to compete with some of the bigger rooms in NYC, Philly, and DC, so we decided to remodel and offer two large venues for entertainment,” venue owner John Ruble said.

 “On any given day,  we might have up to four separate events going on in our facility” added David Madochick.  “We want to offer a large variety of entertainment, targeting our core market in Lehigh Valley. We want to offer it all,  Rock, Country, Latin, Hip-Hop, Comedy, EDM, heck even MMA and Wrestling. We want to be known as a true Entertainment Complex.”
