Jay Harren has been named Head of Business Development, Music, for StubHub by the company’s GM, Music, Theater and Performing Arts Jeff Poirier, to whom he’ll report.

Harren joined Columbia Records in 2006 as A&R Manager, signing Manchester Orchestra as well as The Voice’s first-ever female winner, country star Cassadee Pope, who fronted the group Hey Monday at the time.
Jay’s career began in radio at Atlanta alternative station WNNX (99x), where he was an MD and on-air talent, as well as founder and host of the station’s music discovery program, “Sunday School.”
He is also an adjunct professor at Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Music Business, teaching “Entertainment in New York,” and is co-host of the music discovery podcast, Lean Forward.
