Done Events Acquires Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival

Done Events today announced the acquisition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival presented by Mastercard from previous owner Chillout Productions.
As part of the acquisition, Done Events will organize, operate and manage the popular festival, which celebrates its 17th edition next year, Feb. 20-22, at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
Snow Patrol have been announced as the first headliners, and Done Events is expected to unveil the other two over the coming days.
Dubai Jazz Festival was established in 2003 and has since sold over 500,000 tickets. According to Done Events, it is the regions most recognized festival, having received awards from local, regional and internationally acclaimed industry organizations.
Artists that played the festival in the past, include Jamie Cullum, One Republic, John Legend, Sting, David Gray and Juelz Santana.

Done Events managing director Girish Bhat added: “We are extremely excited for the next edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, and we will be soon announcing the artists that will perform there within the next few days!”
Antony Younes, CEO of the festival’s previous owner Chillout Production, said: “The collaboration between Done Events and Chillout Productions commenced a few years ago as both our events, RedFestDXB, organized by Done Events and the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, organized by Chillout Productions, ran back to back.
“Done Events have a track record of delivering on major shows such as the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, we strongly believe they will maintain the high standards that our loyal audience and sponsors are accustomed to.
