Chicago Boutique Agency Flowerbooking Closes After 28 Years
After 28 years, Chicago-based boutique agency Flowerbooking has closed shop as of Nov. 30, with the president Susanne Dawursk and vice president Tim Edwards still available at their current email addresses.
“It’s been an incredible ride and we thank each and every one of you for your contribution to our story,” the announcement read. “We certainly didn’t imagine the length and width of this adventure when we started back in 1990.”
Flowerbooking’s client roster included artists such as Ratatat, Pinback, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, The Album Leaf, and many others, as well as producing events and festivals including “Rockstar Energy Drink AP Tour.”
The announcement says Dawursk and Edwards are reachable at their Flowerbooking addresses “for the foreseeable future” although, “We are all off to new adventures and would love to stay in touch.”

Dawursk started touring with bands during breaks from school and started working with venues to organize shows for friends, with Flowerbooking officially in 1990. Mahmood came to Flowerbooking after running his own agency in Boston until 2002.
