Mumford & Sons Tacks On Additional Summer Dates

There will be time to see Mumford & Sons in North America this August, as the band has added an additional two weeks of dates in August.
Starting on the West Coast, the routing is a mix of stadiums and amphitheatres, running through Los Angeles; Portland, Ore.; Vancouver, British Columbia; and George, Wash.’s “gorgeous” Gorge Amphitheatre. Then things stretch into Montana, Utah, and Colorado.
The opener for most dates of the new dates is Portugal. The Man on all dates except Aug. 15 at Greenwood Village, Colo.’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, which will have Lord Huron. Cat Power also opens for a leg.
A Verified Fan presale begins March 14 and the general onsale begins March 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
The band is promoting tunes off its latest album, Delta, from 2018. That release propelled the band up the Elite 100 Artists chart in November.
Mumford & Sons’ influence has been felt in the music landscape as they continue to open a lane for Americana music to succeed with a more mainstream audience.
The band went on tour in Australia in January with the biggest single night gross reported being at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, where they grossed $1.2 million in one night.
