Europe Lineup Roundup: Final Glastonbury Headliners Revealed

World-famous festival Glastonbury published its first 2019 lineup poster on Friday. The announcement added headliners The Killers and The Cure to a slate that already includes Stormzy, Kylie Minogue and Janet Jackson.
British Summer Time Hyde Park had already announced that Florence + The Machine and The National would headline on July 13. The team around festival director Jim King just announced the additions of Blood Orange, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Let’s Eat Grandma and Goat Girl to the event’s bill.
The Long Road Festival, which premiered last year, announced the first names for the second edition at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, England, Sept. 6-8.
The first wave of acts includes the first UK performance by Josh Turner, Kip Moore, Asleep At The Wheel, John Paul White, Eric Paslay, Charley Crockett, Morgan Evans and Rhiannon Giddens.
“Playing The Long Road Festival has been a long time coming as my fans in the UK have been practically begging me to cross the big pond for years!” Turner said. “I’m excited to finally be able to go over and play for my loyal, and patient, fans!”
Multi-venue festival Tramlines announced the second wave of artists this week. The list includes Johnny Marr, Annie Mac, Tom Grennan, Drenge, The Futureheads, Jade Bird, Becky Hill, The Japanese House, Good Cop Bad Cop and more.
The event takes place at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield, England, July 19-20. Two Door Cinema Club, Courteeners and Nile Rodgers & Chic had already been confirmed as headliners.
EXIT Festival, which will be held July 4-7 at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, added Skepta, IAMDDB and Desiigner along with more than 30 regional hip-hop acts to its lineup.
European DIY punk Festival Booze Cruise is celebrating its first ever UK event in Bristol, England, May 24-26. The lineup includes Aerial Salad, Anna’s Anchor, Arms & Hearts, Boxing Day, Brightr, Cory & Kirsty Call, Cultdreams (formerly Kamikaze Girls), Dangers of Love, The Dauntless Elite, Dogeyed, Erica Freas, Oxygen Thief, Phaedra’s Love, Suggested Friends, The Run Up, Wayl and Weatherstate.
Flow Festival, Aug. 9-11 in Helsinki, Finland, added Erykah Badu, James Blake, Khruangbin, Big Thief and more to a lineup that already includes Cardi B, Tame Impala, The Cure, Robyn, Blood Orange, Father John Misty and more.
