Morrissey performs at Anthem in Washington, D.C., Nov. 30.
If you can’t make it to his Broadway shows, Moz is coming to you this fall with his headline tour of the U.S. featuring special guest Interpol.
Morrissey kicks off the run Sept. 5 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., and continues until Oct. 6 when he wraps things up at Pechanga Arena San Diego. The routing hits the Northeast, the Midwest, Utah/Oregon, with extended runs in California and Texas.
Tickets go on sale to the general public April 12 at 10 a.m. local time.
Buying a Morrissey ticket is, of course, not always a guarantee the show will happen. In 2018 he postponed a full Europe and U.K. tour and he bailed on a string of dates in 2017, many of which were due to health issues, prompting Pollstar to take a broader look at his misses.
This tour is in promotion of California Son, his forthcoming covers album.
In 2018 he grossed more than $400,00 in almost all of his reported U.K. and Ireland dates, with the exception being the sold-out, but small venue of BHGE Arena in Aberdeen, England, ($190,925 gross on 2,721 tickets).
He also played multiple shows in Mexico City last year.
