Glenn Hughes is forced to postpone his upcoming “Performs Classic Deep Purple Live” UK tour due to illness. He sent his regrets via online channels informing fans that he is unable to perform the eight-date run, which was due to start May 14th through May 24th.
According to a statement released on Hughes’ website, the iconic singer, ex-bassist of Deep Purple and member of supergroup Black Country Communion, “needs to be treated for an illness that while not life threatening, must be dealt with immediately in order for it to not become a serious problem. He is expected to make a full recovery and be back on the road in June.”

Ticket purchasers are kindly asked to wait for further information and will be updated as soon as possible.

The May run was meant to be the second leg of “Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple” in the UK, where it first visited in October 2018. He has been on the road with the show since April 2018, visiting mainland Europe, South America and the U.S. since.
