Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande share the love while performing during the One Love Manchester benefit concert at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in England June 4.
Ariana Grande’s Sweetener tour was scheduled to hit Tampa, Fla., tonight and Orlando, Fla., tomorrow night, but the artist is ill, so the shows are being moved to Nov. 24-25.
“Tampa & Orlando, I woke up incredibly sick today, ran to my doctor here and have been told to postpone these shows tonight and tomorrow. I’m so beyond devasted,” Grande wrote on Instagram. “I promise I will make this up to you, I promise. Please forgive me. I love you and I will be back and better than ever as soon as possible. Love you.”
All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster online or via phone can be automatically refunded. Purchases through ticket offices, the venue, or outlets can be refunded at the original point of purchase. Tickets to the original shows will be honored on the new dates.
Ariana has become one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, and her ticket sales certainly show it. She entered as the HOTSHOT on Pollstar’s Live75 Chart in April, with an average ticket count of 12,068. She is reporting grosses of more than $1 million throughout North America, including a night at Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., that grossed nearly $1.77 million on 13,135 tickets.
Her streaming numbers are also bigtime, as she is regularly perched in the Top 5 of the Elite 100 Artists chart along with streams leaders like Drake, Post Malone, Khalid and now Billie Eilish.
In terms of festivals, Ariana is taking some of North America’s biggest stages, namely Coachella and Lollapalooza. Grande rescheduled a few other Sweetener dates in January due to her headlining slot at Coachella.
She also got into a brief public disagreement with Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich over her potential Grammy Performance that wasn’t.
